Dorchester Hotel and Luxury Suites is located on the infamous Collins Avenue in South Beach, approximately 15 minutes from the Miami International Airport. The Dorchester is a simple and basic Art Deco hotel located steps from the beach. Built in the Mediterranean style in 1939 by famous Architect Frank Wyatt Woods, the Dorchester is a three-story building that wraps around a garden patio. Decorative keystone panels, terrazo floors, and a metal grillwork with the hotel's initial letter have all been preserved. In the morning, Dorchester Cafe serves fresh breakfast--indoors or in the tropical garden patio (not included in rate). The hotel features billiards, table tennis, and a landscaped pool area complete with poolside barbecues. They also offer laundry, translation, porter, and other services. All rooms are air-conditioned and have cable television, refrigerator, and private bathroom with shower. For breakfast buffet visit the Dorchester Restaurant open from 7:00 am - 10:30 am.
