"From the moment I arrived, I was treated rudely and made to produce documentation that I indeed had a reservation, and what the charge would be. Having a confirmation number should have been sufficient, but the clerk could not -- or better, would not-- find it for some reason. It was absurd.
Next, the electronic key did not work THREE times, and he gave me different keys each time, but they failed. So finally when the new reception person came on duty, he came back and opened a different room for me, but was not able to give me a working key either!
Inside the room itself, it was totally messy and unprofessional, for what your company represents as a "resort" leaves much to be desired.
There were only 2 towels, an old toilet, and rotten shower. The furniture was old and rinkidy. The TV was from the 1960's at best.
I think I should be refunded the money I paid to stay at this "luxury resort". I would have been better off staying on a park bench then entering and dealing with the clerk and the room!"

"We stayed in two hotels while visiting Miami Beach. The first one was La Flora which was very clean and beautiful and well worth the money whereas Catalina was more expensive and dirtier and the rooms were old and grimy."
