The Art Deco-style Beachcomber Hotel is just blocks from the beach in Miami's popular South Beach area. The small, white building is flanked by palms. The front breeze porch offers opportunities for lounging and people watching and the beach is just one block away. The Beachcomber Bistro serves enticing French fare daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests can escape Miami's sun with a quiet mid-day meal or chat over a cocktail in the evening at the Beachcomber Bar. Many other restaurants, from dirt-cheap to fine dining, are available nearby. Ask the 24-hour concierge for more information about area eateries and nightlife. Additionally, the hotel offers wake-up calls, multilingual staff, and more. Golf, swimming, windsurfing, water skiing, tennis, and a playground are nearby. Guests will also find a health club within waling distance. For alternative workouts, try combing the area??s boutiques and retail shops or trying your luck at the nearby casino. The hotel is located eight miles from Miami International Airport and within walking distance to the Miami Convention Center. Each room has air-conditioning, alarm clock, dataport, direct-dial telephone with voicemail, private bath and shower, and television. Non-smoking rooms are available upon request.
